Musician profile: katherinekornely

I'm new to the area, and looking to get involved in a band. I've played the OBOE since the fifth grade, and participated in all school band programs since then. I attended University of Wisconsin - Manitowoc and played in their Lakeshore Wind Ensemble for three semesters, and am looking to get involved in something similar. I'm assuming that the Madison Symphony Orchestra is looking for someone with a little higher proficiency than me, but I'm definetely open to suggestions...
