I am a UW Madison student and have been playing guitar for about 7 years now. I love all kinds of music, but I would have to say my biggest influences over the years have been TOOL, A Perfect Circle, At the Drive-in, The Mars Volta, Metallica, Modest Mouse, Smashing Pumpkins, NIN, Nirvana, Rage, and the Chili Peppers. Also listen to some punk like NOFX, Anti Flag, Hot Water Music, Offspring (until they started to suck), and The Vandals. Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Atmosphere. I have played with one serious band and a few not so serious bands since I picked up the guitar. I am always up for jamming. One of my roomates is a very talented bass player with very similar musical taste to me and we are looking for a good rock drummer to start a band with. Anybody interested, shoot me an e-mail.
