Megatone Studios is a newly redesigned, professional recording studio located in Madison, WI. Formerly known as Sleepless Nights, the studio was renovated in 2007 by Producer/Engineer Paul Schluter and co-owner Darren Soderholm.

With experienced engineers, quality equipment, affordable prices and a comfortable atmosphere, Megatone has been doing great production work for the last three and a half years.

Paul Schluter has been recording bands full time since 1996 in these same rooms and has engineered, produced and mixed countless albums for many satisfied clients.

Both of Megatone's owners are long time musicians. Paul Schluter is a guitarist that has played with the legendary Last Crack as well as local favorites Muzzy Luctin & Magic 7. Last Crack released two albums worldwide on Roadrunner Records, had a video in rotation on MTV's Headbanger's Ball, toured the United States and Europe and recorded with world renowned producers Dave Jerden(Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction) and Brian Malouf (Queen, Pearl Jam). Darren Soderholm is a bassist who is a graduate of BIT (Bass Institute of Technology) in Los Angeles and has also played in Last Crack, Muzzy Luctin and Magic 7.

Bands who record at Megatone leave with not only great sounding recordings but also a greater understanding of their songs and even their own playing.

Megatone also does short-run duplication with full color printing on the CD.
