I began playing acoustic guitar in the late 60s and taught a lot of young guitarists along the way most of whom went on to play in bands and are still playing as a hobby or semi professionally. With the advent of expert materials (CDs, DVDs), the whole instruction process is now on a new level and after initial free consultation, I tailor the instruction to the needs and desires of the student(s). My areas of musical knowledge for guitar are primarly pop, light rock, Christian, folk, fingerstyle and to a lesser extent blues.
