From garage bands in high school to playing locally, nationally and internationally today Chris has explored many styles; rock, blues, funk, jazz, country, bluegrass, celtic, samba, metal and many more. He has performed and recorded with many area groups and is currently playing with The Hometown Sweethearts, The Cash Box Kings, Old Tin Can String Band, The World's Greatest Lovers among others. Chris also has extensive studio experience as a "hired gun" for albums. movie soundtracks, audio software and loop libraries. When teaching, Chris tailors the lessons to explore whatever the student is most passionate about learning. Chris encourages efficient and relaxed practice and can offer tips to the get the most out of playing.
