Mr. La Clair has a BM from the University of Miami and a Masters in Trumpet Performance from Florida State University. His performing experience ranges from the Ringling Brothers Circus to the Chicago Symphony. He is the director of The Madison Brass quintet, The Impact of Brass (the brass with full percussion) and A Touch of Brass jazz combo. Sandy also performs with the Madison Municipal Band and the 1st Brigade Civil War Band.
Since 1981 Sandy La Clair has had a private studio in Monona where brass players of all ages and levels have found individualized instruction to meet their musical goals.
