I've been a staple to Madison's far east side and the Sun Prairie music scene since I founded Prairie Music Academy in 1999. 2010 marks my 11th year of successful piano teaching and performing in the Sun Prairie area!
Attending Lawrence University and the University of WI Madison for my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, has rooted a deep foundation for my levels of understanding and working with many types of students. I am proud to say I send students to competitions every year and every year they come out winners!
As a recipient of several performance awards at Lawrence, I know and appreciate the commitment involved with working a piece to high standards.
With my Pedagogy emphasis in my degrees, and certification in teaching music to the very young, I believe I hold qualities that are unique and hard to find. I adapt easily to many types of students.
