Musician Wanted
The Leeding Zeros have been a band since 2005. We are a 5 piece that features rhythm and electric guitar, keyboards,
saxophone, trombone, bass and drums. We write our own music and tend to play only enough recognizable covers to keep people
engaged and then throw in "B-sides" with our own flavor added to plump up the sets. We practice once a week, typically on Sundays
at our home studio. We gig about one to two times a month but tend to back off in the cold months because we hate hauling gear in the cold.
We were runner up for Madison Stars best local band in 2010. Reviews have said our style is jazzy, soulful rock however I think we tend to play what
we fancy. Lead female vocals with strong harmonies. We work well together and my husband Greg does the business side of things and is considered
our leader of the band. We have bookings that are on hold at this moment and would like to find somebody ASAP. Our goal at this time is to play out as much as our schedules will allow to make money to put toward another CD project. I should also mention we donate our
time 2-3 times a year to playing for fundraisers of our choice.
We are looking for either a lead guitarist or lead keyboardist. Possibly both.
